At the University of Nevada, Reno, Facilities Services Department he was a Project Supervisor for six
years, where his duties included campus projects, strategic planning, and development of procedures and
document tools, including spearheading the initial development of the Campus Project Development
Procedure. Dave was the Facilities Services project manager on the Brian Whalen Parking Complex,
Student Services Building, Argenta Hall Phase One & Sierra Street Parking Complex, and numerous campus
improvement projects. He also implemented the design and construction of a perimeter security system
for 12 buildings located throughout the campus which included video surveillance.
While at both TMCC and UNR David conducted building assessments, prioritization and budgets for
campus improvements, maintenance and major capital improvement projects. He was involved in
developing and categorizing the projects for submittal to the Nevada Legislature for funding. He served
on the system-wide Facilities Managers team that developed the reporting documentation for these
legislative requests.
David left the University in 2003 to go back into private practice. Since then he has completed numerous
commercial, educational, and residential projects. See the portfolio for highlighted projects.
David is also the Principal Architect of the company and is licensed in the State of Nevada, #1957, and
the State of Idaho, #AR-2759. David is nationally certified by the National Council of Registration Boards
since 1986.
